This community-based, free home repair program helps homeowners and community centers who are financially unable to maintain their properties.  Begun in 1986 as an AMERICARES program, Homefront became independent in 2009 having averaged 100 properties each year. Organized volunteers provide free improvements and repairs to those selected based on individual need, number of volunteer teams, and funds available to support each project.
