Description:
A nonprofit, community-based organization, open to all residents of Greenwich and the surrounding area, dedicated to helping people who have experienced lifestyle changes, meet new friends, and become familiar with the community. Although most members are new to town, membership is not limited to new residents. Parents who are now home with children, people who move across town, those whose job or marital status has changed would all benefit by having the opportunity to meet and make new friends. The club has daytime welcome coffees, evening welcome socials, and special events each month. There are about twenty daytime events each month, twenty special interest groups, and an award – winning, monthly newsletter. There are currently over 280 member families. OGRNC IS NOW THE ONLY NEWCOMERS GROUP IN GREENWICH.
