Our Partners

Founded in 1933 as the Community Chest and Council, this nonprofit foundation identifies and responds to the health and human service needs of the community. The group raises funds and provides financial support to critical programs and non-profit agencies. Greenwich United Way helps children and youth, strengthens families and the community at large, assists persons in crisis, promotes health and wellness, fosters self-sufficiency, and aids seniors. It also provides time-limited grants addressing critical issues. The United Way is instrumental in community planning and education, and in identifying changing needs and initiating new social services projects to meet these needs.

In 2013, Greenwich United Way and Community Answers merged.  The relationship allows both organizations do what they do best, even better.
